Responsibilities
- Lead multiple projects independently from start to finish, on time and on quality.
- Manage and delegate responsibilities to other designers and provide directions.
- Concept, design, and present ideas to clients/team members.
- Review and sign off on design drawings.
- Stay on top of industry inspiration and maintain best practices.
- Contribute to building the future of the firm.
Requirements
- Skilled in CAD and rendering software, although you won't necessarily need to use them for every project.
- Strong team management and mentoring skills.
- A broad portfolio which demonstrates expertise and taste. A good rule of thumb is it shouldn't look like a Pinterest mood board.
- A functional command of technical details.
- Excellent project management skills.
- 5+ productive years as an interior designer or architect
