Your Role
We’re looking for a Head Pastry Chef to assistant our Executive Pastry Chef with the daily operation of our Labo.
Essential Responsibilities
PRODUCTION
- Manage daily and monthly kitchen operation and production. Monitor the production based on our demand and production target.
- Make sure our food is consistent with a stable quality and respect of the recipes.
- Oversee the purchasing and supply stock levels.
- Maintain a sanitary, organized, and productive work environment with well maintained equipment and strict health and hygiene measures.
- Reinforce our SOPs, recipes and daily cleaning checklist.
LEADERSHIP
- Lead and manage the kitchen team to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Oversee the training and development of the team.
- Work closely with HR to identify recruitment needs.
- Assist the Executive Pastry Chef with his tasks.
PURCHASING & COGS
- Monitor our stock levels and oversee the purchasing of raw ingredients.
- Control the food cost through reinforcing the recipes and accurate purchasing levels.
