In addition to the team effort, good preparation, and a well-trained presenter, there are a few practices that we typically apply at The Lab.

1. A Clear Brief

Having a deep understanding of the client's business and characteristics can add significant value during the presentation. We typically schedule several meetings to become familiar with the client's business, product/service, design taste, and expectations. By doing this, we can also assess the client’s working style and create a suitable presentation plan.

2. Internal Review

We usually have three rounds of internal review to keep track of progress. During these reviews, we ensure that the presentation is heading in the right direction, addressing the client's brief, and delivering the agreed-upon deliverables.

How do we contribute to the internal review? See the article below:

How to Give Effective Feedback to Creatives. By an Account.

3. Customization

Each client requires a customized presentation tailored to their specific working style.

4. Rehearsal

It's time to challenge our presentation. We need to be able to predict our clients' reactions, and concerns in order to defend our point of view.

5. Finding Moments

People remember moments, so it's important to make a lasting impression. To achieve this, exceed the client's expectations.

Put yourself in the client's shoes and consider what would make them feel excited, comfortable, and enjoy your presentation.
